What our Prices Include

Our prices include transfers between your accommodation and the Great Escape. Trips starting or finishing in Wyndham also include transfers between Kununurra and Wyndham.

Our prices do not include airfares or accommodation unless specified. We can arrange travel and accommodation and will be happy to discuss your requirements. If you are making your own arrangements we strongly recommend you make your bookings well in advance. Many guests choose to use loyalty program points for their air travel. In some cases these need to be made a year in advance.

Our prices do not include alcohol. You are welcome to make your own arrangements or we can do that for you. We provide a comprehensive list of wines/beers etc for you to choose from and we will arrange for the boat to be stocked accordingly. Payment must be received prior to departure.

Who can participate in our trips

We cater for all levels of fitness. All our trips are designed so you can do as much or as little as you want. We do recommend that you be able to manoeuvre into and out of dinghies, as this is how we access many of our favourite places. Treks vary in the degree of difficulty and Captain Chris Tucker the crew will advise s guests accordingly.

We do not carry children under 16 years unless the boat is exclusively booked or where we have a special trip from time-to-time for children and their parents.

Cuisine

We have an onboard chef whose culinary skills are consistently praised by all our guests. All meals are five star quality and only fresh produce is used. Special dietary needs can easily be accommodated. Please discuss any special requirements with us. (Hint: this is not a good time to start a diet!). Water is taken out in the tenders along with soft drinks (and beer if required) on ice in the eskies on every excursions. So there is no need to take water bottles.

Medical Information

Participation on a Great Escape adventure requires that you are in good health. It is essential that any persons with any medical problem and/or related dietary requirements make them known to us well before departure.

Single Share Policy

All cabins are sold on a twin share basis. Sole occupancy can be purchased at the rate of 2 fares less 20%. If you are travelling alone in a twin cabin, a same sex roommate may be assigned to your cabin.

Vessel Transfers

The Great Escape provides local transfers to and from the vessel (for Wyndham Port, Kununurra is considered local). Unless otherwise specified, boarding will begin at 5pm on the day of departure and disembarkation is at 8am.
